So my choice today was,

1. Drive 35+ miles to mountain bike in an area where I’m pretty sure hunting season is happening with either a bow, shotgun or muzzle loader (Morris, Sussex, Passaic, Hunterdon counties) -OR-

2. Mountain bike closer to me, but it’s illegal, because hippiecrites in towns like Maplewood, Montclair, Berkeley Heights, don’t know how to share their tens of thousands of acres of parks and many miles of trails with bicyclists, so they pay police to impound bikes. -OR-

3. Don’t ride at all

I chose 1. Because life is short. And I’d rather die doing with I love, than sit in my butt and be safe doing nothing. I stuck to the main trail, wore tie dye clothes, bright red helmet, clamped a rattling device to my handlebars to announce my presence with noise. And I was fine.

Now if we can only get those “tolerant” people in Essex and Union counties to learn to >>>

A View of NYC from Meadowlands NJ – Under Pressure

“Watching some good friends
Screaming Let me out”

Heard those lines on the radio from superstars Queen and David Bowie as I snapped these photos of NYC skyline on Saturday. With so many of us (myself included) discussing the suicide epidemic that humanity around the world is battling, those words have stuck in my head, and I continue to send out prayers to the souls of those who were lost, and their loved ones.

“Can’t we give ourselves one more chance
Why can’t we give love that one more chance
Why can’t we give love give love give love give love
Give love give love give love give love give love
‘Cause love’s such an old fashioned word
And love dares you to care for
The people on the (people on streets) edge of the night
And loves (people on streets) dares you to change our way of
Caring about ourselves
This is our last dance
This is ourselves
Under pressure
Under pressure
Pressure”

And Hip Hop For All!

And Hip Hop For All

Here is a short film that I produced and edited, about positive hip hop culture in New York City and New Jersey.

And Hip Hop For All is a short documentary film that I produced, shot and edited in 2002. It is about a relatively unknown hip hop scene that exists for higher purposes. This culture attracts people of different colors in the spirit of unity and encourages women to compete as equals with men. Unity! Fun! Competition!
